    I do agree with Chandru. This is a good vegetarian restaurant in Thalassery, even though small in size and has limitation in space. Quality is good. Ideal to place for a breakfast after the Darsanam of Perumal, Hanuman, Devi, Ganapati and Sivan. If you are having lunch from there, don't forget to ask the great tasting Rasam.

    Quality of food here is excellent. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner served here. Meena mami directly supervises the kitchen and preparation of food items. Hence the homely taste. Restaurant is also quite clean. After Kichha mama's demise, Meena mami was managing this restaurant, while parallely looking after her small children. By God's grace, now the family is doing quite well and Manikandan is managing this business very well. While in visiting Thalassery or during your pilgrimage trip to Thiruvangad Perumal temple, I recommend you to visit this restaurant and try the wholesome food.

    The Temple was constructed through the request made by Sri Varuthoor to Swami Sri Narayana Guru, who was a "Grihastha Disiple" of the Guru. This Temple was constructed after the Construction of Sri Jagannath Temple at Tellicherry. Guru when starting for the jagannath temple installation from Sri Varuthoor's residence He pointed out a place on the South of the residence and said that this place should be kept clean and should not be used for anything else.
